Getting Started with Your Satisfactory Server
Ready to build factories on MASSAGE-2(A-B)b with your friends? Here's how to get started.
1. Find your server
Go to My Services and open your Satisfactory server to see the console, files, and settings.
2. Start the server
Click Start in the console. The server is usually ready within a couple of minutes.
3. Connect via the game
Open Satisfactory, go to Server Manager in the main menu, select Add Remote Server, and enter your server's IP address and query port (shown in the control panel).
4. Create or load a save
The first time you connect, create a new game directly from the Server Manager. You can also upload an existing save file via Files → FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/server.
5. Set passwords (optional)
In the Server Manager you can set separate admin and client passwords, so you control who can join and who can administer the server.
Tips
- Enable automatic backups before starting large factory projects.
- The server runs 24/7, so production chains keep going even when nobody is logged in.
- Keep an eye on disk usage with large saves — complex factories grow over time.
