Getting Started with Your Palworld Server
Ready to catch Pals and build your base? Here is how to get your Palworld server running.
1. Find your server in the control panel
Go to My Services and open your Palworld server. From here you have access to the console, file manager, backups, and settings.
2. Configure the server settings
Under Startup you can set the server name, password, and maximum number of players. For more advanced settings (for example XP rate, day/night cycle, or PvP), edit PalWorldSettings.ini under Files.
3. Start the server
Click Start in the console. The first boot typically takes a couple of minutes.
4. Connect to your server
Open Palworld, go to Multiplayer → Join Multiplayer Game, and enter your server's IP address and port (shown at the top of the control panel). You can also find the server under Community Servers if you have made it public.
Tips
- Enable automatic backups under the Backups tab - Palworld worlds can grow large, so keep an eye on your disk space.
- Set a password in
PalWorldSettings.iniif you only want specific players to join. - Restart the server after changing settings in
PalWorldSettings.inifor the changes to take effect.
